Great paddle, just like the rest of the R2Carbon series!

I find the MAX series of paddles to be somewhat akin to oversized tennis rackets. As a former tennis teaching pro, the MAX feels like you almost don't have to watch the ball to make your best shots!!! Plenty of real estate on this face and if you want that combined with the shorter handle, this is the one for you!!! Power is there if you ask for it, touch is there as well. Spin is certainly adequate(no, it's not super-spinny like the rough textured flavor of the week, but plenty of spin available). It's a plush feel on impact compared to many power paddles, very solid and relatively quiet.
I regularly play the Rogue2Carbon E and Hybrid and this MAX is just as fun!!!
I have one from two years ago(multiple x per week use) and it feels just as solid!
I could switch in the middle of a game and not miss a beat.
Really, really good paddle(especially for the blem price!!!).

Do not hesitate to pull the trigger and save some money on these "cosmetic blemish" paddles. It will take you some serious time to even find the "blemish"! The quality is top notch. I wasn't sold until some good friends let me use one of these vs the 20-30 dollar academy paddles. There is simply no comparison, which you will discover in the first three minutes of using these.
